About Tomas
Tomas Levinton is a medical device executive with over 15 years of management experience in all aspects of operations, including business administration, regulatory, P&L responsibility/management, sales/marketing, distribution/logistics and manufacturing.

Tomas is the co-founder of Twins & Martin Equipment Corp., one of the largest medical device distributor groups in Latin America. Tomas also sits on the BOD of several medical device startups. Tomas received his Bachelor of Science in International Business and Marketing in 2012 from Florida International University.

Mauro Levinton is a medical device executive with over 35 years of upper management experience in all aspects of operations, including business administration, P&L responsibility/management, sales/marketing, distribution/logistics and manufacturing.

Mauro is the founder of Levbeth Medical, one of the largest medical device distributor companies in Mexico with over 180 employees and $35M+ in revenue. Mauro was also a former consultant for Medtronic, Endologix and Bolton Medical.

About David

David A. Martin, RN is the founder, president, and chief executive officer of VeinInnovations in Atlanta. Since 2002, VeinInnovations has provided advanced, high quality in-office therapies for venous insufficiency; the root cause of varicose veins. VI has multiple locations in the Metro area. David received his nursing degree from DeKalb Community College (now a part of GA State University) in 1980. Subsequent to a long and varied clinical career, which included working in Intensive Care Units, Emergency Departments, and a twelve-year stint as a clinical first-assistant for cardiac and thoracic surgeons, he now devotes his energies to running VeinInnovations.

He has founded several other companies over the years including a non-profit tissue bank, which specialized in the procurement of human vascular tissue, a large first-assistant surgical practice, and a new medical device company. David has long been a strong believer in, and supporter of community-based healthcare delivery, and has served on the Board of Visiting Nurse Health System (VNHS) since 2011. In late 2016, David was nominated, and accepted the board chair position with VNHS. He has lived in Atlanta since 1969, and currently resides in Druid Hills with his wife, Beth Finnerty.

Chuck Bagwell is a seasoned business enterprise operations executive with extensive experience in large as well as startup organizations. Chuck, has over 30 years of senior management experience in all aspects of operations, including, tactical/strategic planning, business administration, P&L responsibility/management, sales/marketing, distribution/logistics and manufacturing.

Early in his career, Chuck held senior sales, marketing and management positions with NCR, Apple Computer and Ingram Micro. Chuck, was the founder and President of Technology Associates Marketing Company, (TAMCO), the largest manufacturer’s representative and marketing firm of its time whose clients included Intel Corporation, Apple Computer, Micron Technologies, Sony and Iomega. Chuck, is also the founder and largest shareholder of Agora Communications Marketing and Expos, LLC. Agora, is a business to business event production company and produces Smart Water Summit and Smart Utility Summit, both events are widely acclaimed and recognized in the North American Electric and Water Utility industry. Agora’s Vendor/Clients include both fortune 100 as well as startup firm such as ATT, Siemens, General Electric, Landis & Gyr and ARUtility. Chuck, received his bachelor of science in Business Administration in 1977 from THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY.

Larry has a diverse background in both start-up and Fortune 500 companies which blends technology investment and valuation with investment banking experience. He has formed IP licensing companies and raised capital for licensing and litigation activities. Larry has also developed systems and procedures to oversee tax and accounting and manage cash flow distribution to investors. He led the origination team in patent financing, acquisition and licensing at GE Capital and has broad investment banking experience over 15 years at Merrill Lynch in Debt Capital Markets, Derivatives, Corporate Finance, and Municipal Finance. Larry has been acknowledged as one of the world’s top 300 leading IP strategists by Intellectual Asset Management magazine.

Larry holds a BSE in biomedical engineering from Duke University and an MBA in finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

About Robert
Dr. Crawford is a Native of Guayaquil, Ecuador. He obtained is BA in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California at Berkeley. There, he did research with Dr. Ray Stevens in the Department of Chemistry, focusing on the structural biology of 7-transmembrane receptors. Subsequently, he worked with Dr. James Marks at UCSF, helping in the design, cloning and large scale production of high affinity phage-display antibodies used as breast cancer therapeutic agents.

Dr. Crawford obtained his MD degree from the Medical College of Virginia and went on to become General Surgery Chief Administrative Resident at Wayne State University. He did additional training at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where he was a Surgical Critical Care Fellow, and a Research and Clinical Fellow in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. He then spent the next 9 years as a practicing vascular surgeon, first at the University of Maryland and subsequently Emory University where he rose to the rank of Associate Professor of Surgery.

During his academic time, Dr. Crawford held multiple leadership positions. He held a Federal Research Grant looking at therapeutics for critical limb ischemia and holds a patent for a vascular access device. Dr. Crawford has worked closely with industry in device clinical trials. He. has published over 100 peer reviewed articles and book chapter. He has been a reviewer and editor in academic journals, and is a member of relevant societies in the field, including being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and member of the Society for Vascular Surgery. Dr. Crawford has presented his work at dozens of national and international meetings.
